MACARONI AND TOMATO PIE
Cook a, Jib of macaroni in the usual way, cook £lb of tomatoes by frying. them in butter. Make a sauce of one-pint of milk, four" tablespoons of flour and •a little salt. Cook, and. stir till smooth add the macaroni, tomatoes and one cupful of eooled^-xmishrooms, if obtainable. Pour into an earthenware dish and. sprinkle well with grated cheese. Putinto a hot oven and brown nicely.
