In order to^ cope with the rapid growth of settlement in the district the circulation was again revised1 and we have the assurance of the Postmaster that witi t-he excetion of two houses me Stokes Valley, every house in the<Hutt Postal District received a free copy of the "Hutt News." In t-he list.of successful students who sat for the November Trinity College Music Exams, and which was published in a recent issue, the name of Jack Barnes, who secured 65 marks, was in : advertently omitted.
Messrs E. Johnston and Co. advertise an attractive sale of household furniture, in this issue, on account of Mr B. Jarden, at 105 Knights Bmd. The sale will commence at 1.30 to-day (Thursday).
The screening of "The Cuckoos" at the King George Theatre and the Prince Edward Theatre last week drew t large and appreciative audiences. The picture, which was a real mirth-maker of a Mgh standard, *was particularly well recorded, the many catchy airs and the excellent humour of the cornmedians made the evening's programme specially attractive.
