LOWER HUTT SCOUTS.
The Third Lower Hutt (Mefclodist) Troop of Boy Seduts cele-bratod its third birthday last week With a party, wbeu there was a large attendance of parents, friends and other visitors.
Sir Alfred Bobin, Metropolitan Commissioner, on his arrival was saluted with a haka, and. after a short game the troop lined up by patrols for an inspection. .
Sir Alfred questioned the lads on their Scout knowledge- and was satisfied with tiio answers.
Tho business of tho annual general mooting, of parents and supporters, at which the Scoutmaster's report and the financial statement -wore, received, resulted in a large and enthusiastic committee being elected for the coming year/with. Rev. H. Sharpe as chairman. Following the. meeting Mr. Sharpe took- tlie opportunity of saying a few words and then presented t-he late Scoutmaster, Mr. GY O. Clark, with a silver vase suitably engraved for his services to the troop.
