To Uncle Bill.

I ye just composed a verse or two To you, dear Uncle Bill; In trying to please the kiddies You do it with a will. The stories that's been printed Pleases both old and young The postman has been rushed Since Uncle Bill began. We like the little paper And call it our dear pet; We love to read the stories And hope for many yet. Goodbye, dear Uncle Bill, You are a lovely chum; Just wait till Thursday comes And watch the kiddies run. —Composed by M. H.
