RUGBY NOTES

All members are requested to remember Saturday's "smoko," which begins at 7.45 sharp. A good programme has been arranged and a large attendance is hoped for so that the function will be a financial as well as a social success. An invitation has been extended to the i Hawkes Bay representatives, and we hope to be honoured with their attendance. Any member who has been overlooked in the matter of tickets may' f.ecure them from the secretary who will be at the gymnasium to-night (Thursday). * * * * * Arrangements are in train for a match at Levin for the junior team, to t.ake place on the 15th inst, Any members who can make the trip are requested to get in touch with Mr. Synott (10 Backley Street), or Mr. A. Foote (Te Momi Road). * * * * Donations of £1 1/- each are acknowledged with thanks from Messrs J. K!ennington, W. Lees, V. Clendon and Major King.
