THE WASH-OUT

The engineers in. charge of the repairing of^ the Hutt railway line are making good progress and one of the many big wash outs has been repaired. The Railway Department is running a skeleton service on the single line and some very lengthy trains pass over the it during the rush hours. The buses are also making many extra trips and the people are- fast getting used to the new order of things.
