CHURCH PARADE

There was an interesting ceremonial at Trinity Congregational Church, Alicetown, Lower Hutt on Sunday evening last when members of the Loyal Orange Lodges of the district held a church parade. Ali lodges in the Hutt Valley and Petone were numerously represented, including a number of members from the two female lodges, as well as officers of the Grand Lodge or the Order from Wellington, and there was also a crowded congregation.

The Order's solemn charge to the brethren was iised by the district secretary and the Rev. H. Weaxne gave p. n appropriate ad (Tress. -An anthem by the choir, a solo an<J the hymns -were all in. keeping with the service, which was most impressive. After the service the monthly social supper, w.as held followed by community sacred singing, and. was attended by nearly the whole of the large congregation.
