Plunket Annual Fete.

His Worship the Mayor, Mr. W. T. Strand, presided at a well-attended meeting of the Plunket Society, which was called to make final arrangements for the Society's garden fete. It was agreed to hold the fete in Riddiford Park on Friday, 25th inst., from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. The following - stalls were allocated:— Afternoon Tea: Mesdames Hardcastle, J. P. Phillips, P. Marshall, F. N. R. Meadows, A. F. Tosswill and Mrs. Maiden. Fancy Stall: Mesdames G. Bennett, J. Cameron, A. V. Sutcliffe, A. H. P. •Hall. Flowers and Plants: Mesdames C. B. Robinson, A. L. Hansell, W. H. Smith. Produce: Mesdames W. T. Strand, F. N. Gibson, and Mrs. Olphert. Jumble: Mesdames E. W. Hunt, M. Denniston, Campbell-Begg, Yon Zeidliltz. len Cream: Mrs. Earnshaw. Drinks and Sweets: Mesdames C. B. Buxton, W. Bock. Peanut Stall: Mrs. R. O. Chesney. Side-shows: Men's Committee: (Messrs. W. T. Strand, M. Denniston, W. H. Smith, Harland, C. B. Buxton, J. P. Phillips). Entertainments: Men's Committee. Treasurer for the Fete: Mr. W. H. Earnshaw. Baby Competition: Babies Swift, Incledon, Waugh, Towers, Strand.
