—That the two tenor solos so ably rendered by Mr. Roy Hill, at the recent Orchestral Society's concert, also a "Ballade" in E Flat Major on the same programme, were cpmposed by our local musical composer, Mr. C. M. Haydon (Mus. Bac). * * * —That the Public Rest Room for Women, which is in the Plunket Building, Riddiford Park, is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. * * * —That the Girls' Friendly Society meets every Monday evening at St. James' small schoolroom at 7.45 p.m. ]N o girl need ever be lonely.
