The concert being organised by Mr. Barton Ginger in aid of the New Methodist Church building fund promises to be one of the finest artistic treats ever experienced in this town. As will be seen from the advertisement, the artists who have been secured are the cream of New Zealand talent. Mr. Harrison Gook, Mr. Leon de Mauney, and Mrs. Andrews need no introduction to the Lower Hutt public, Mr. Austin Blackie is an old favourite, and has been well received on his every appearance. Miss Ngaire Coster is a young singer with a very sweet soprano voice, and has attracted much attention recently in Wellington. Mr. Brokenshire is a first class humorist. Mr. Barton Ginger will produce his well known Dickens character "Scrooge," and will have the assistance of the other artists in singing "Christmas Carols."
