Adelaide, November 20.--At the Hospital inquiry, l)r Corbin, whilst under examination with reference to an operation performed by Dr Napier, was asked by the Chief Secretary why he did not suggest a certain course should be taken, and if he did not think so he should have interfeVed in the interests of humanity. Dr Corbin replied he was sodisgusted and thought that the greatest good to the greatest nuniber was far more to be considered. He diil not interfere because he hoped Dr Napier would kill tho patient, and thus damn himself for ever. He thought if one case could raise the indignation of the sluggish public many lives in.ght be saved.
