ELECTORAL BOUNDARIES.

The following are the boundaries of the electoral district of the Bay of Plenty as gazetted :—This district is bounded towards the north gonerally by Ohinemuri Electoral District hereinbefore described from the .Confiscation boundaryline to the Bay of Plenty ; thence by the Bay of Plenty to Cape Runaway; thence towards tho east by a right line to tho summit of Mount Hikurangi; thence towards the south-east by right lines from hill to hill iilong the summit of the watershed between the Bay of Plenty and the east coast to Trig station No. 139 a; thence by a right line over Trig station .No. 140.t0 tho Motu river ; thence by the right bank of the said Motu river to the north-western boundary-line of tho Motu block ; thence by that block to its westernmost corner at the Koranga river; thence again .towards the north-east by tho right bank of the said Kqranga river to its source; thence by a right line to Maungatapere Trig station; theme .-again towards the south-east by a right line to Muuugapohatu; thence again towards the north-east by a right line to Trig station No. 98 .(Nga Pakira) ; thence again 4 o wards tho .south-east by a right line to the most northerly point of Waikaremoana; thence by a right lino to the junction of the Rangitarki' river with tho main road from Napier to Taupo; thence by a : right line to the eastern boundary-line of the Taubara south block to a point whore it is crossed by the Taharua i-iver to its confluence with the Mobaka river ; ; thence by the said Mohaka river to a lino being the production of a right line drown between Trig station No. 65a, Kaweka Survey District, and Trig station No. 68a; thence by a right lino to the said '1 rig station N">. 65a ; thence towards the south by a right line to Trig station No. 26, Tawheketowhaugo ; thence by a right line to Trig station No 27 ; thence t>3' a right'line to Trig station No. 28, Kaimanawa Survey District; thence by n right lino to the summit of Ruapehu Mountain: thence towards the west by lines from peak to peak to the summit of Tongariro Mountain ; thence towards the south-west by a* right line to the eastern corner of tho Kirikau Block ; thence by the northeastern boundary-lines of that block to the "Wanganui river; thence .again towards tho west generally by the said "Wanganui river to the confluence of the Ongaruhe river with that river; and thence by tho "Waikato Electoral District hereinbefore described; .including Motiti and Whale Islands.
