ROTOITI SAWMILL BURNED.

Mr William M. Morris reported this morning that Mr W. Kelly's sawmill situ-» ated on Lake Rotoiti was totally destroyed by ffre at 11 o'clock Inst night. Hie mill had been working all day yesterday up to 6 p.m. At B.3@> Morris, who is nmnager, went to bed and was roused by hearing an escape' of steam. On looking out he saw the whole buil'ding in flames. The fire had raised the" steam in the boiler and forcing out a- rivet caused the noise. The plant and building were worth about .£BOO and as far as is known are uninsured.
