Auckland, This day.—At the meeting of Mr J. McEao's creditors yesterday i! was stated that the bankrupt paid £7 per week for Lake House, with the ticensi. and £0 or £8 pur week for the Palaci without the license. All he got for giving up tin; hotel was a promise that ! would be put into w hotel in Auckland. Further proceedings were adjourned. Wellington. This day,—Capt. Edwin reports that the glass is rising with every indication of westerly winds and cold weather.
