After working considerable havoc amongst the poultry in different parts of Kangiora, the stoats or weasels are turning their attention to eats, three or four having been fonnd dead within the past few days with wounds in their throats. The Island trading vessel Sea Shoot, is missing. Sho was scon cruising in Bougainville Straits, Solomon Group, several months ago, and subsequently wreckage was found in the vicinity! It is believed the crew were murdered by natives, and the vessel lost.
