THE SANATORIUM.

A DISCUSSION IN THE HOUSE. "Wellington Wednesday.—The Premier stated yesterday that lhe general analysis of the Rotorua mineral waters was made in 1878, but that several analyses of particular muds and waters had been made from timo to tirun since. The matter was important and would recieve due attention. This statement did not content Mr McKenzie who stated that the establishment at Rotorua was being mismanaged, and while the number of visitors to the locality was imcreasing, the number of attendances at the Sanatorium was on the decrease. The Premier said that they would ask for supplies to enable them to place the mineral waters under proper supervision and c-ntrol. The expenditure of £20,000 on the Rotorua Springs would be wise and not, iu his opinion, excessive. This announcement was received with tokens of approval by the House.
