Here we found the police and survey parties in camp, and our lone; and tedious march across the Land of No Account was over. The men are now working on the road to To Whaiti and are well established in their I camp. A number of natives of the Tuhoe. j Ngatimanawa and Ngatiwhare Tribes are holding a meeting nt To Whaiti hut no trouble is anticipated in that direction. The men are quiet and orderly in camp I and the few malcontents have been | effo -tually silenced.
