A PRINCESS BANISHED TO SIBERIA.
Among the recent convict airivals at tho central forwarding prison in Moscow (writes tho Daily News correspondent) is a Georgian Princess of remarkable beauty, condemned for participation in the murder of her husband to life-long banishment in ono of the remote penal settlements of Siberia. Sidoine GuUdasch Will, now in her 27th year, and in the full maturity o: these personal charms for which tho Georgian women were formerly famed, was tbo daughter of ono of the many impoverished Princes of her race, and when 13 years of a"e was bartered in marriage to a wealthy but decrepit old man. This Caucasian Bluebeard practically kept his girl wife under lock and key for 10 years. Subsequently her freedom was somewhat enlarged, and whilst assisting at tho marriage feast of a neighbor she made the acquaintance of a haudsorao young Georgian noble. The result of this chance of meeting was tbe old old story of graduated pity, sympathy, and unlawful affection. Ihe lovers again met a few months later at anuther nuptial ceiemony, and on this occasion they eloped and fled to a mountain domicile. Jn tbe meantime tbe husband of Bidonis wan found murdered in his bed, and the criino being attributed to the runaway lovers, tbey were traced to tho hills and arrested. They were recently tiied before tbo District Tribunal at Rostoff, on the Don, and confessed that tho murder was committed by their joint instigation. The actual culprit or culprits have not been found, Siponie a:id her lover are now for ever separated. Tbe unbappy Princess goes to iier gloomy fate in the Siberian wilds, and her companion to tho penal island of Saghalien.
