The policeman was standing on the corner about midnight, when a belated passenger approached him unsteadily. I say, Mr Ossifer, he said, how is tins anyhow. How's what? inquired the officer, gooci naturedly. This politics. What politics ? That at Washington. I don't quite catch on. The passenger took the officer by the arm. I mean this, he said Was it the Senate that passed the Sugar Bill or was it the sugar that passed the Senate bill? r
