The Government resigned after failing to reach an agreement with the German Trade Mission concerning the German-Rumanian exchange rate. The Germans demanded that marks paid for Rumanian goods shipped to Germany should he ■credited at sixty lei, instead of at the prevailing rate of 41.5. They also asked for the use of Rumanian tankers for the shipment of oil to the Reich hy rail. The German mission left for Berlin last night after Rumania had refused to yield to these points, although it was agreed to grant some lesser trade concessions.
