Five Enemy Fighters Shot Down
Artillery Fire On Western Front Received This Day, 9.15 a.m. PARIS, Nov. 23. A war communique states: “It is fairly quiet on the Western Front. There was artillery fire at various points, and we brought down five enemy fighters in our own territory on November 22nd. Furthermore, a German reconnaissance ’plane was attacked by French fighters over Grave lines and fell into Belgian territory. We lost one fighter.”
