PRIME MINISTER ANNOUNCES SUCCESS DETAILS NOT YET AVAILABLE Bv Telegraph—Press Association “ CHRISTCHURCH, Last Night. The £4.500,000 loan floated by the Government has been fully subscribed. The announcement of the success of the flotation was made this evening by the Prime Minister (Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage). He received a brief message from the Governor of the Reserve Bank to the effect that the ful.l subscription had been made. The Prime Minister was unable to jive full details of the reception of the loan by investors, “because,” he explained, “the issue had, closed only this day an hour or so ago. It might be a day or two before the details are available,” said Mr. Savage, “and a further statement will be made then.”
