MINE MANAGER SEVERELY BURNED
IGNITION OF GAS AT COAL FACE By Telegraph —Press Association GREYMOUTH, Last Night. Frederick Fauth, aged 52, manager of the Bellbird Co-operative Colliery on the coastal road, sustained severe burns to his arras, face, chest and neck through the ignition of gas at the coal face this morning. He was taken to hospital and his condition so far is satisfactory. The mine had been considered non-gaseous. ■ .
