SCOTTISH REGIMENT.

MEMBERS SWORN IN (By Telegraph —Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Last Night. The swearing in of members of the newly-formed Wellington Company, New Zealand Scottish Regiment, took place in the Drill Hall, Buckle Street, to-night. The responsibilities which they took upon themselves in joining up were explained to the recruits and best wishes were extended for their future success.

Each of the 125 recruits took the oath of allegiance and at the conclusion of the formal proceedings the company was organised into platoons. Later the company was entertained by the Wellington branch of the New Zealand Scottish Regimental Association.
