SAVED FROM SINKING SHIP.
BY U.S. DESTROYER (By Teiegraph-Press Assm-Copyright) Received Wednesday, 9.45 p.m. MANILA, May 9. The United States destroyer P-pe sent a wireless message stating that she rescued G 6 passepgers and crew of fchs British steamer Lindenbank. On a voyage from Fremantle to Shanghai the Lindenbank struck Arena Reef in the middle of the Sulu Sea and sank in 600 fathoms.
