P.W. EMPLOYEE INJURED (By Telegraph— frr* aa Association). ASHBURTON, This Day. A fractured pelvis and serious internal injuries were sustained by Osburne McQueen, an employee of the Public Works Department at Klondyke, headworks of the Rangitata water diversion scheme. Mr. McQueen was closing the door of a small galvanised iron storage shed when the building was blown over by a north-west gale, the corner of the root' striking him. Mr. McQueen is married, aged 31, and resides at Christchurch. His condition is satisfactory.
