EASTER MONDAY PLAY.

On Easter Monday the two local clubs held a combined progressive pairs tournament on the Eevin green. The weather was ideal and the green was in good playing condition. Hercock, Thynne, Wall and Martin drew equal in the leads’ play and divided the prize money, while Wenham won- im the skips’ section. Scores were:-—: Leads: Hercock, Thynne, Wall and Martin 4 each, Vincent and Holmes 3 each, Bell 2i Leong and Wilkinson 2 each, Burling, Welply and Allan li each, Bowater and Pink 1 each. Skips: Wenham 44, Meads, Hough and Bowater 4 each, H. Powell and Lemmon 34, Walker 3, Pyke, Shennan and O’Connor 2 each, Lett 14, Keenan 1, Parker and Challies nil.
