TOURNAMENTS IN LEVIN. In a pairs tournament in which the Levin and Central Clubs combined to play on the Central green, on Good Friday, Stannard was successful in taking the honours in the leads, while Meads, Burnham and Brown gained the most points in the skips’ section, Brown proving the winner in a play-off. Scores were: —

Leads: Stannard 4, Ingram 34, Keenan, Burling, AVingfield and Lycette 3 each, O’Connor 24 iPnk, Welply, Bell, Harvey and Bowater 2 each, Pine and Stewart 1.

Skips: Burnham, Brown and Meads 4 each, Walker and Lett 34 each, Challies 3, Hough, Powell, Gieggan, Hogg and de Malmanche 2 each, Walker and Parker 1 each and Wilkinson nil. Rinks Tourney.

Activities on Saturday centred round the rinks tourney on the Levin green.
