(Bv Telegraph —Press Association), WELLINGTON,. Last Night.

The Prime Minister, Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage, was given a tumultuous reception and accorded musical honours when he appeared at the annual conference of the New Zealand Labour Party to-day to present the report of the Parliamentary Labour Party. After listening to Mr. Savage’s report the conference carried the following motion unanimously, accompanied by further acclamation:

"That this conference thanks the Prime Minister for his comprehensive report, expresses high appreciation of the Government’s legislative and administrative achievements and records its full and complete confidence in the Prime Minister and in the Cabinet.”
