FATAL STAB BY FISH.
GIRL'S DEATH NEAR THAMES (By Telegraph—Press Association.) THAMES, Last Night. An inquest was held concerning the death of Miss Jessie Merle Laing, who died from the effects of a stab by a fish when bathing on the coast near Thames last Sunday. The Coroner returned a verdict in accordance with the medical evidence that deatli was caused by stabbing by
a salt-water fish believed to be a stingray.
