VEHICLE STRIPPED OF MANY PARTS (Special to “Chronicle"). PALMERSTON N., This Day. The conversion of a ear and the subsequent wrecking of the venicre In a manner Dial can only be described as audacious, occurred on Wednesday night. The car, a small one, was left parked outside the Commercial Hotel, Palmers lon North, by Mr. V. M. Greer and mud have been removed somewhere, about 11 p.m. It was discovered yesterday morning about four miles from Levin stripped clean of practically every part that was removable. Two wheels and tyres, carburetter, generator, both headlamps, coils, tools, distributor, and a rug inside the car were taken. The culprits even took one of the sparking plugs and there are signs that an attempt urns even made to try and remove the head of the engine. When the owner arrived at the scene to recover his car he found practically a sliell only.
