SPANISH AIR FORCE FRANCO’S PLANS FOR PEACE. LONDON, July 7. General Alfredo Kindelan, head of the Spanish Nationalists’ air force, declares that General Franco has built up a great air force, and that, consequently, Spaniards are carrying out a great part of*the aerial work. There are two brigades with independent squadrons for special assignments. Commander Morato, it is stated, has shot down 38 Republican aeroplanes and Captain Salvador 28. General according to General Kindelan, considers that Spain will need a large air force after the war, and, consequently, he is planning a peace-time equipment of 2000 aeroplanes for the expansion of civil aviation.
