ACCUSED FINED £4O. (By Telegraph—Brass Associations WAIPUKUBAU, This Day. William McKenzie Angus, building contractor, of Napier, was lined. £4O with costs £l, and his license cancelled for one year in the Magistrate’s Court this morning at Waipukurau, on a charge of being intoxicated while in charge of a car. The case was the sequel to a collision last Sunday on the main highway near . Takapau. The Magistate said the defendant had narrowly escaped imprisonment.
