(By Telegraph—Press Association., WELLINGTON, This Day. An intense anticyclone now covers the Dominion, the centre being over the east coast of the South Island, There has been a slight fall of pressure over eastern Australia. The forecast is for moderate to fresh but decreasing south-easter-ly winds, but becoming variable and tending to northerly to-morrow. Weather changeable with passing showers at first east of the ranges, but otherwise becoming fair to fine. Temperatures cold with some frosts inland. Seas moderate on the west coast and rough but decreasing on the east coast.
