ELDERLY MAN'S FATAL INJURIES.

MOTOE TRUCK SKIDS INTO POWER POLE (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Last Night Fatal head injuries were suffered by aa employee of the Public Works Department, Conway Sinclaire, aged 63, of Avondale, while riding in a motor truck which skidded into an electric power polo on the Hobsonville road. About a dozen men who had just ceased outside formation work at the Mangere aerodrome on account of the rain were travelling home in a truck driven by Robert John Hibbert. After travelling pome distance from the aerodrome the truck met another vehicle on a corner and it skidded off the road into the power pole, causing Sinclaire to lurch and strike his head.
