FAIR TO FINE.
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. Yesterday’s depression has passed eastward, but conditions are still disturbed to the east and northeast of the North Island. A shallow depression is crossing the southern portion of the South Island and an intense anticyclone still covers south-eastern Australia. The forecast is for light to moderate and variable winds at first, but a change to strong southerlies probable during to-night. Weather fair to fine at first and rain probable with' the southerly change. Temperatures cold. Seas moderate but later rising.
