APPEAL DISMISSED BY MAJORITY JUDGEMENT WELLINGTON, Last Night. Tlie Court of Appeal by the majority judgment of Chief Justice Sir Michael Myers and Justices Kennedy, Calkin and Northcroft, with Justice Blair dissenting, dismissed the appeal of the trustees with costs on the highest scale, in the case of C. P. and T. P. Hunter v. E. M. Hunter.

,Thc appeal was against the decision of Mr. Justice Smith which removed the appellants from the trusteeship of the estate of th. late Sir George Hunter.

The original Supreme Court action was brought by Lady Edith May Hunter, and concerned the conduct by Cyril Paul Hunter and Thomas Percy Hunter, of Porangahau sheep station, one of the main assets in the estate of the late Sir George Hunter. Mr. C. 11. Weston, K.C., with him Mr. D. H. Hoggard, appeared for the appellants, and Mr. .1. D. Willis, with him Mr. K. L. A. Cresswell, appeared for the respondent. On th - Bench wore the Chief Justice (Sir Michael 'Myers) and Mr. Justice Blair, Mr. Justice Kennedy, Mr. Justice Callau and Mr. Justice Northcroft.

RESERVED JUDGMENT IN SHIPPING CO. CASE WELLINGTON. Last Night. The Court of Appeal reserved judgment in the ease of Ashby v. the Shaw, Bavill and Albion Co. The Court adjourned till July 13.
