An anti-cyclone of considerable intensity still covers the Tasman Sea and New Zealand areas, the highest pressure feeing over the southern portion of the North Island, while a slight disturbance is affecting the far southern portion of the South Island. The forecast is for light to moderate and variable winds, with northerly gradually predominating. Weather fine, with warmer day but cold night temperatures and some frosts inland. Seas slight to moderate.
