WELCOMED LIKE A CONQUERING •HERO. (By Telegraph —press (Received This Day, 11.55 a.m.) BERLIN, May 10. Hitler was welcomed home like a conquering hero. Enormous creowds burst into cheering as he detrained an I greeted General Goering, whereupon 400 Hitler Youth trumpeters fanfared. Italian and German flags were everywhere draped. A fire crowned the pylons on the River Spree, searchlights flooding the streets through which the Furhrcr drove.
