TAXI DRIVER KILLED.

HIT TRUCK FROM SIDE ROAD (By Telegraph—Pres? Association.) TE AWAMUTU, Last Night. Mr. W. Elliott, a taxi driver, of Otorohanga, was killed in a motor collision on the main south road a few miles south of Kihikilii this afternoon. His taxi collided with a metal truck which had emerged from the side of the road. Two passengers in the taxi suffered injury, but ivere not seriously hurt.
