A slight disturbance is crossing the South Island, but pressure is high and gradients are slight over the whole Tasman Sea and New Zealand area. The forecast is for light to moderate and variable winds, with south-easterlies later prevailing. Weather mainly fair to cloudy, hut scattered rain prohahle. Temperatures mild. Seas slight to moderate.
