LEVIN STOCK SALE.

YESTERDAY'S REALISATIONS. The usual weekly stock sale was conducted at the Levin yards yesterday before a good attendance of buyers. Messrs. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report that they offered large yardings of pigs and cattle, together with a smaller entry of sheep than usual. The sale was bTisk and practically a total clearance was made at full late rates, with the exception of prices for beef which showed a slight easing, due to an over-supply. Bealisations were as under:—

LOAN AND MERCANTILE. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., report that they offered good yardings of cattle and pigs, with a smaller entry of sheep. All stock sold well at late market rates. The price range was as under :

Pigs : Light porkers, £24s, 30s, 35s to £2; heavy do., £2 ss, £2 7s, £2 10s to £3; baeoners, £3 ss, £3 10s to £3 15s; slips, 3s 6d, 5s to 8s; stores, 18s, 20s to 235.

Sheep : Wether lambs, 14s Id to 15s 2d; five-year ewes, to 15s. Cattle : Light fat cows, £4, £4 10s to £5; medium do., £5 ss, £5 10s, £6 to £6 17s 6d; vealers, £2, £2 6s to £2 18s; store cows, 30s, £2, £3 to £3 17s 6d; potter bulls, £5 to £B.
