POLO TOURNEY.
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) HAMILTON, Last Night. The Saville Cup polo tournament, at which leading teams from all parts of New Zealand are competing, opened at Claudclands to-day. Cambridge A, holders of the trophy which is the emblem of polo supremacy in the Dominion, accounted for Waimai by 6 goals to 2 in the first round. Other results were: —Hawkes Bay 9, Glen Murray 3; Cambridge B 6, Eangltikei 4; Matangi 5, Matamata A 3. Junior Cup.—First round: Morrinsville 7, Waihou A 2.
