BRITISH STEAMER CAPTURED.
NOT ENTITLED TO ASSISTANCE. (By Telegraph-Press Assn.-Copyright) (Received This Day, 9.40 a.m.) LONDON, Sept., 9. The British ' steamer Stanwold, of 1019 tons, has been captured by one of General Franco’s torpedo boats off the Basque coast. The incident was witnessed by a British warship, but the Stanwold was in territorial waters ahd was not entitled to assistance.
