(By Telegraph —Press Association.) WANGANUI, Last Night. The Wanganui spring meeting opened yesterday, the yeather being fine and the course in really good order. There was a satisfactory attendance and the totalisator handled £13,581 10s, as compared with £9273 10s on the corresponding day last year. The fields were good throughout the day and there were a number of exciting finishes.
