HORSE FALLS AT HUNT.

When He Chicot fell in the Amateur Cup -xa.ee for gentlemen riders at the Waimate Hunt races on Saturday* the rider, Bobin Craeroft Harper, aged 25, was believed to have suffered only a dislocated shoulder, but he died in hospital last night. The deceased, who was the elder son of Mr, H. J. C. Harper, was a keen follower of the hounds and rode at many hunt .club meetings in Canterbury in the last six years. He was educated at the Timaru High School and Christ’s College.
