MYSTERY AEROPLANE SIGHTED. MIDNIGHT LOW-FLYING STUNTS (By Telegraph-Press Assn.--Oopyright) Received Sunday, 7.30 p.m. LONDON, July 17. A mystery aeroplane which recently frightened Londoners by midnight low-flying stunts reappeared over Central London early this morning, flying at about feet. Hundreds saw it at 12.15 a.m., passing over- Trafalgar Square. The fuselage and wings were plainly visible in the glare of street lights. It was still circling over tne West End at 12.30 but soon disappeared northwards. It had previously passed over the Air Ministry, where efforts are , being made to discover its identity. ■■ DROPPING FLOUR . BOMBS. DEMONSTRATING INADEQUACY OF AIR DEFENCE. (Received This Day, 9.55 a.m.) LONDON, July 18. The mystery aeroplane again flew over London after midnight on Sunday. The Referee declares that the pilot, Without disclosing his name, telephoned defence officials as follows: “To-night, to demonstrate the inadequacy of Britain’s air defences, I am going to drop flour bombs on the House of Commons and St. Paul’s Cathedral.”
