PENNY INCREASE FORECAST. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WHANGAREI, July 16. While some quarter’s estimate the increase in the guaranteed price this season at about 3d. a lb., Mr. P. Elliottj chairman of directors of the Bikurangi Co-operative ©airy CO., Ltd., at the annual meeting' yesterday considered that the Government would give favourable consideration to increasing the price and that dairy supplies would get something like a penny extra. He did not expect a decision until Mr. Nash returned. He also anticipated that the Government at an early date would take control of the marketing of butter within New Zealand.
