NO PROVISION FOR THE DUKE OF WINDSOR. EXTRA ALLOWANCE FOR DUKE OF GLOUCESTER. (By Telegraph-Press -a.ssn.--Copyright,) Received Thursday, 10.30 p.m. LONDON, April 29. The Daily Mail's political correspondent says that a special allowance of at least £6OOO a year for Princess Elizabeth until she comes of age and ais increased allowance for H.E.H. the Duke of Gloucester, who at present receives £25,000, in recognition of the extra duties he has to perform in the absence of a Prince of Wales, are among the recommendations of the select committee on the new Civil List, whose report is now completed. The Queen and Queen Mary wall each receive allowances of £70,000. Other recommendations follow closely the provisions made for the Royal Family in George V's reign. The report contains no references to any allowance for the Duke of Windsor.
