KNOCKED DOWN AND KILLED.

(By Telegraph—Press Association.) TIMAEU, Last Night.

Fatal injuries were suffered by Joseph Eeynolds, aged 84, a porter at <iio Arowhenua Hotel near Timaru, to-night when in crossing the road in front of the hotel he walked in front o± a car driven by Russell Craig, of Geraldine. Eeynolds, who had been at the hotel for 16 years, went out to collect & newspaper and did not see the car.
